Over the decades, St. Paul’s Catholic Community has earned international recognition for the profound beauty of its liturgical and musical traditions – and for ministries that touch lives throughout Harvard University and far beyond. Through the Open Wide The Doors campaign, we have the opportunity to not only educate people who are going to change the world, but to form their souls through bolder programs, improved infrastructure, and a unified community.

If the recent pandemic brought untold suffering to the human family, it also cast a bright light on our deep and intrinsic desires for transcendence, beauty, goodness, and truth. We also realized the global need for wise and compassionate leaders rooted in truth. We recognize that this is an important moment in our history to further elevate and enrich hearts with the light of Jesus Christ.

This bold fundraising initiative seeks to raise $34.33 million to transform this storied parish into a worldwide leader, influencer, and resource of Catholic worship, thought, sacred music, and service. With your engagement and backing, we will glorify God and empower St. Paul's Catholic Community to become a global force for the renewal of Catholic life and thought.

Prayer for St. Paul’s Community
ALMIGHTY we praise You for the many blessings that have come to us through the St. Paul's Community in Harvard Square.
We are awed by the ways in which You have been at work in and through us as we have sought to worship You in the beauty of holiness; to bring the Catholic intellectual tradition to the academy; and to form children, students, families, and adults as disciples and saints. We thank You for the men and women whose vision and generosity helped establish St. Paul's Parish,
St. Paul's Choir School, and the Harvard Catholic Center, and for all the faithful who have sustained them in the decades since.
Mindful that we possess nothing apart from You, we humbly beseech You to bless and guide our campaign to "Open Wide The Doors" of the St. Paul's Community so that the Good News of Jesus Christ may be proclaimed from Harvard Square even to the ends of the earth. Grant each of us a deeper spirit of gratitude for Your gifts, a spirit of abandonment to Your providential care, and a spirit of sacrifice and generosity, so that our meager offerings may be multiplied a hundredfold and this community may be secure for generations to come. To Him who in all things is able to accomplish far more than all we can ask or imagine, to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever.
